Ok, here is a very bold prediction: It will be very difficult to walk out of the theaters disappointed this summer. Now, if you’ll just read on it will be my pleasure to explain/defend my proclamation.

Every summer really good movies are released… but this summer, WOW, what a blockbuster summer for Hollywood! You’ll have no trouble finding star-studded casts and wonderful plot-lines for every age and demographic. Plenty of amazing comic book adaptations are hitting the silver screen, from the new Incredible Hulk and Batman The Dark Knight, to Speed Racer the movie starring heart throb, Emile Hirsch as Speed. Just a quick heads up, the Mach 5 will probably be on your little ones Christmas list come December!

How about the story of the summer thus far starring Robert Downey, Jr. as Tony Stark… You know IRONMAN! Sorry no Spoilers here, you”ll need to see this movie!

Comic heroes aren’t the only ones finding new life this year… Harrison Ford is back for the fourth installment of the super successful Indiana Jones films in Temple of the Crystal Skull. Shia LaBeouf from last summer’s blockbuster, Transformers, also makes an appearance in the new Indy movie as Mutt Williams.

There is more to this summer’s movie madness then action adventure and nail biting thrillers… The younger crowd and the kid in us will absolutely love The Chronicles of Narnia 2: Prince Caspian, as well as Kung Fu Panda which features voices lent by such monsters as Jack Black, Dustin Hoffman and Jackie Chan. It’s gonna be hilarious. Wall E is and amazing Disney Pixar movie that takes us to the year 2700 for the misadventures of “the last robot on earth”.

So once again, I state that it will be very difficult to walk out of the theaters disappointed this summer.
