I love the story of the Faberge eggs except the deaths of the entire family. It is unfortunate that Russia has chosen to lose some of the truly beautiful one-of-a-kind pieces of art with such a history. Beautiful photo's!

I heard a gentleman making a call to Franklin and desperately trying to buy this offer of, even offering extra shipping cost to UK. I saw him very disappointed for getting no help, no such a thing as Customer Service in USA. I assure you I do not even know this gentleman at all, but someone else explained the rest.

Thanks.

Hello,

My brother is a bicycle collector and has about 50 bicycles in his collection. The crown jewl for his collection would be if I could find a Black Motorcycle Engin with a red lever that mounted inbetween the handelbars of the bike.

I think it was made in the late 60's or early 70" have you ever heard of such a thing and if so what would be the name?

Thank you for your time,

Danny

Err...it's "High-dah" or if you like "Hyeda", not a long 'ee'. Otherwise interesting post.

I've never seen a picture of this pen before. I'm curious what it sold for...I understand this post is a bit dated. I'm also curious about the snake. Maybe I'm not enough of an Agatha Christie fan to understand the significance. Either way, its a gorgeous writing instrument. (insert envy here)
