2008 Federation of Historical Bottle Collectors Botte, Jar & Collectibles EXPO
Mar 22nd, 2008 | By admin | Category: Events
Every four years the Federation of Historical Bottle Collectors holds their exposition. The show will consist of all type bottles - whiskey, flasks, milks, infant feeders, fruit jars, bitters, medicines, painted label sodas, blob top sodas - to name a few. You will also find insulators, target balls, pottery, table top antiques and other miscellaneous antiques. We have vendors from US, Canada, England, Australia, and Germany and displays (not for sale items) from these same coutries. The displays are not limited to bottles. We also have historical displays including Civil War items. This year will be the largest ever held with 600+ tables of merchandise for all type collectors. Besides sales tables, there will also be displays of collections, seminars on various topics such as codd bottles, specialty group meetings such as ink collectors, painted label soda collectors, infant feeder collectors, and a banquet with a speaker which anyone can attend. A live auction will be held on Saturday evening. We are taking consignments for the auction and volunteers for more seminars as well as seeking additional vendors. Early admission will be Friday afternoon, August 8 from 1 - 5 and general admission will be Saturday August 9 from 9 - 5 and Sunday August 10 from 9 - 3. For more information, contact R.
