West Palm Beach, FL – The venerable Palm Beach Winter Antiques Show returns for its 28th year January 14- 17, 2010. The show will take place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, 1601 Belvedere Road in West Palm Beach and the entire hotel, from the lobby to the ballroom, will become one big, dazzling antiques fair.

This is a highly diversified show featuring over 50 antiques dealers, many of whom will be traveling from other countries to attend. With an emphasis on period furniture and accessories, fine art and a wide array of items for the serious collector and designer, the show truly offers something for everyone.

“This is a traditional antiques show with a Palm Beach flair,” said show organizer Zita Waters Bell, “and is known by all who attend as a great buying show.  The show is vetted and excellence is our priority.” Bell went on to say that every effort is made to have an exclusive show with only the best in antiques. “As we did last year,” Bell continued, “our policy will allow art dating to the mid 20th century.”   This year’s theme will be “All About Antiques” and a portion of the tickets sales will benefit Wellington-based ArtStart.

PREVIEW AND RECEPTION THURSDAY, JANUARY 14
ArtStart, a Wellington based non-profit whose mission is to provide educational opportunities in the arts, has been selected as the charity or record for the 28th Annual Palm Beach Winter Antiques Show. The organization will help organize and benefit from a preview party at the Crowne Plaza on Thursday,  January 14, 2010 from 6-9p.m. and will also receive a portion of every ticket sold for the show. Preview party tickets are $80 and entitle the buyer to repeat admission to the show and complimentary valet parking.  For more information or to make reservations, contact Zita Waters Bell at (561) 483-4047. Partygoers will enjoy champagne, wine and hors d’oeuvres and will have the first chance to view and purchase antiques, art and jewelry items from the dealers at the show.
