Jul 23rd, 2008 | By CollectOs | Category: Moment's Item
CollectOs-Object of the Week is a beautiful gilt porcelain Sevres style clock, probably from the second half of 19th century (judging by the construction, square nuts etc.). Clock is in very good condition, nothing is broken, missing or chipped. Porcelain is also in very good condition, shows normal wear - crazing at some places. Dial is also in very good condition, it’s not dirty, dark color is shading. It shows normal wear around the holes for the wind up key. It is realy a very nice and unique clock (they are usually decorated with angel, cherubs, flowers etc.), you can judge it from the picture. Clock is approx. 16″ tall, 10.5/8″ wide, 4.3/4″ deep and it is pretty heavy.
