Rare MONT BLANC 4810 Agatha Christie Fountain Pen MIB

Magnificent 1993 Mont Blanc 4810 “Agatha Christie” fountain pen, new in box with all paperwork and unconditionally guaranteed to be authentic. This gold-plated sterling pen is numbered 1061/4810. The detail is superb, right down to the sapphire eyes on the snake and the 18K gold, rhodium-plated nib.

  1. This is a fake. The original had ruby eyes; not saphire.

  2. It’s not necessarily fake - the limited edition had a gold-plated silver snake clip with sapphire eyes. The standard pen had a silver snake with ruby eyes.

  4. I’ve never seen a picture of this pen before. I’m curious what it sold for…I understand this post is a bit dated. I’m also curious about the snake. Maybe I’m not enough of an Agatha Christie fan to understand the significance. Either way, its a gorgeous writing instrument. (insert envy here)

  5. The vermeil gold is blue sapphire. The red ruby is silver edition. The gold version which is is 4810 units , more expensive than the silver version of 12,000 units. before comment learn first.

  6. I have one that has the rubies and silver - a ballpoint. How do I find out it’s value?
